A Delicately Fermented White‑Bud Tea

Discover the smooth, delicately delicious Pu’erh White Tea at Pamela’s Apothecary. This premium tea is crafted from unopened white buds harvested from old Yunnan Pu’erh trees. The fuzzy leaf buds are gently fermented in the traditional style, creating a highly oxidized tea that mellows and improves with age.

The infusion is pale in color with a bright, silky flavor and soft hints of wildflower honey. A beautiful, calming cup with a touch of natural energy.

If you have specific health concerns or take prescription medications, you may wish to speak with your healthcare provider before adding new herbs or teas to your routine.

Tasting Notes

  • Aroma: The cup opens with a soft, earthy sweetness — gentle notes of sun‑dried leaves, warm hay, and a hint of forest floor. A delicate floral lift rises underneath, giving the aroma a clean, calming brightness that hints at the tea’s naturally light and sweet character.
  • Flavor: Smooth and mellow, with a naturally sweet, lightly earthy body. Subtle mineral warmth and soft woodsy undertones weave through the sip, balanced by a faint floral freshness. There’s a subtle fruity note that adds a quiet brightness, making the tea feel both refined and easy to drink. The flavor is grounding yet delicate — “light, sweet, floral, very smooth,” (as one of my sweet customers told me)
  • Finish: Clean, warm, and quietly sweet with lingering earthy‑floral notes. The finish feels serene and restorative, settling gently on the palate and the stomach. It’s the kind of tea you could sip all day — subtle, fabulous, and effortlessly enjoyable.
  • Mood: Calming, centering, and contemplative. A cup that feels like stillness — perfect for grounding, gentle focus, and peaceful daily rituals.
